How to get there by plane
The nearest airport is Pisa International Airport "Galileo Galilei" (www.pisa-airport.com), which is located around 10 Km from Polo Piagge. Another option is the Florence International Airport "Amerigo Vespucci" (www.aeroporto.firenze.it).

From Pisa Airport to Polo Piagge
The easiest way to get to Polo Piagge is to take a taxi just outside the airport for a cost of approximately €12. As an alternative, immediately next to the airport you will notice a little train station: every twenty minutes a train leaves in order to connect Pisa Airport to Pisa Central Station (Pisa Centrale) (five-minute trip), where you will find the LAM Bus to "Cisanello Ospedale", the bus stop is "Matteotti" (the trip from Pisa Central Station to Matteotti is again a five-minute trip). Another option is to take a taxi from Pisa Central Station to Polo Piagge, for a fare of about €7.

From Florence Airport to Polo Piagge
The easiest way to get to the Polo Piagge is again to take a taxi outside the airport, but for a cost of no less than €80. The cheapest alternative is to go to the Main Railway Station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella, S.M.N.), in order to take a train coincidence to Pisa. The recommended way is to take a taxi to the station. You can also use city buses: there is a bus leaving every 30 minutes from the airport to Firenze S.M.N. and you can get more information at www.ataf.net. At Firenze S.M.N. Station, there are trains to Pisa every half an hour (see www.ferroviedellostato.it). The whole journey (bus+train) will take approximately two hours (for a cost of about €9).

How to get there by train

From Northern Italy: Highway A12 (Genova-Rosignano), exit at Pisa Nord
